EPIC International are pleased to announce they are now able to conduct IWCF Well Intervention courses at their facility in Great Yarmouth.
The full suite of IWCF Well Intervention Level 2, Level 3 & Level 4 courses are available, alongside the new IWCF digital assessment. These courses enhance the planning management & execution well servicing & well intervention operations.
The IWCF syllabus is effectively delivered from a well control perspective, in addition to Process Safety and Human Factors. These important aspects are often misunderstood and can be a contributory factor in well control incidents.
The courses require a minimum of 5 candidates, and will be held each month throughout the year.
Further information on IWCF training can be obtained at www.iwcf.org
IWCF Well Intervention courses are suitable for Well Servicing Supervisors or Operators, Well Intervention Supervisors or Operators, Drilling Supervisors, Drillers, Assistant Drillers & Rig crew.
For effective well planning, this course is also recommended for Petroleum Technologists, Petroleum Engineers, OIMs, Production Supervisors and Control Room Operators etc. who are managing Well Intervention operations on their assets.
The course is delivered by an IWCF accredited Engineer with 35-Years of Well Servicing experience both on & offshore, including high (40%) H2S wells. He is an ex. UK OIM and offshore Project Manager. These positions have afforded him an understanding of Human Factors that can affect actions taken, and could impact significantly the control of a hydrocarbon well?
